Disneyana Fan Club President’s Message

Welcome to our new website!
As part of the conversion process from the NFFC to the Disneyana Fan Club, the Board of Directors recognized the need last year to upgrade our website to provide a better online experience for our members and other visitors.
We solicited bids and selected 17 Seconds Productions as the developer for a new website. Each member of the Board provided input and the result you now see is a major improvement over our old site.
The entire membership database will now exist within the website rather than on someone’s laptop computer. Members will be able to log-in to make changes in their profile or to renew their membership. Archived issues of the newsletter, corporate Bylaws and Rules & Regulations, Finance Reports from our Treasurer, summaries of meetings of the Board of Directors, and current Disney related news items will be available to members. Registration for future events will also be electronically processed with immediate confirmations.
The Forums will be replaced with the Disneyana Fan Club Blogs and I would encourage everyone to take advantage of this valuable communication and networking tool. And don’t forgot that we now have a Facebook presence as well.
Each Chapter of the Club will be able to create its own page or provide a link to a separate site.
Individual members will have easy access to find the nearest chapter and the chapters will be able to network with each other.
The Legacy section is expanded to include photographs and biographical information about all of our Disney Legend and Heritage Award recipients.
You will have the ability to directly contact each member of the Board with specific questions rather than having to use a general emailbox. Each officer has provided basic information about the activities within their area of responsibility. And members will be afforded the opportunity to join committees supervised by members of the Board.
Our charitable activities with Ryman Arts and Give Kids the World are now described under a Charities tab on the website.
And the current issue of the Disneyana Dispatch which our media relations staff publishes on a periodic basis with information about current and upcoming events will also be available.
