Results Of Member Vote To Keep Or To Rescind Article 14 Provisions Are In!
The results of Disneyana Fan Club's Membership Vote on whether to keep or rescind the provisions of Article 14 of the By-Laws are in.
At the July 11 board meeting, our Secretary, Koko Witz, reported that 132 votes were received - with 77 of them to retain article 14's provision allowing the Board of Directors to make future amendments and 55 of them to rescind the provision.
After the meeting, our Treasurer Louis Boish handed Koko 4 more envelopes which were timely postmarked and needed to be added into the final count. She has counted those additional ballots and the final tally in the nationwide membership vote is 80 votes (59%) to retain and 56 votes (41%) to rescind.
